The Exhibition of Tiny Art is a Community Project based in Golden Plains Shire and being held in Inverleigh over the next three years.
Focusing on all things tiny, we aim to create a unique space in the Arts and Cultural landscape that is accessible for many members of the community, and brings a sense of playfulness and wonder.

Expressions of Interest for ‘The Exhibition of Tiny Art 2026’
This is an open call exhibition. We are accepting Tiny Art Works (parameters defined below) to be shown at ‘The Exhibition of Tiny Art.’ This exhibition will take place over the weekend of the 15th - 17th May, 2026.
Artworks will be installed in The Supper Room, at Inverleigh Town Hall, 71 High Street, Inverleigh.
Artwork Specifications:
Artists may submit multiple artworks (maximum of 5 entries)
We have three categories:
Teeny-Tiny: Artworks measuring under 6cm x 6cm x 6cm
TIny: Artworks measuring under 11cm x 11cm x 11cm
Miniatures: (ie model houses, libraries, shop fronts) Can be above 11cm x 11cm x 11cm. Entrants may need to provide their own pvc protective guard.
Submission Requirements:
Your artwork will be ready to install when you deliver it. This means being able to hang or install the work without the need for additional tools or hardware.
Materials: Artworks must not contain dangerous and/or hazardous materials or present a tripping hazard. Please run through this with our curator and installer, and provide a materials list on your artwork label when submitting.
Content Restrictions: The Exhibition of Tiny Art reserves the right to refuse works that are offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory.
Submitting an entry form does not constitute immediate entry into the exhibition. We will let you know from 1st of Feb, 2026, if your entry has been accepted.
Preparation of work:
-Artwork Labelling: Artist name, artwork title, date of creation, material/s used, and price must be clearly labelled on the back. Unlabeled works may be excluded at the Working groups discretion
-For paintings and 2D works, you must have d-rings and/or wire already on the artwork. You can find these at your local hardware store. See here and here.* Due to logistics, we will reject work that is not install-ready
-3D works must be stable enough to be installed on a plinth or flat surface, or have an installation mechanism/support supplied by the artist.
Submissions
-Artists may submit up to 5 works. One entry per artwork.
-Artwork submissions can be made via our form https://form.jotform.com/252980344714864
-Framed artworks may measure larger than category specifications. ie, a 6 cm x 6cm painting may be framed in an A4-size frame.
-Artwork will need to be delivered between April 1st, 2026 and May 1st, 2026. Entrants will be notified of delivery drop off points and dates in February 2026. Postal submissions are accepted, postage will be at Artists own cost.
Selling Artwork
You may wish to sell your artwork, if so, please include a price in the submission, or write ‘not for sale’. You will need to include contact details, such as a website, social media handle, email or phone for prospective buyers to contact you. We will include the price and your contact details alongside your artwork.
Insurance
-The Artist indemnifies The Exhibition of Tiny Art Working Group against all liability for claims, actions, demands, damages, loss, theft, costs, or expenses of any kind whatsoever suffered or incurred relating to the Artist’s work(s).
-While we will do our best to look after the artworks during the time we have them, unforeseen damage may occur. You may like to take out your own insurance.
Collection of Artworks after the Exhibition
-Artworks must be collected from the Inverleigh Town Hall between 6-pm - 8pm Sunday, 17th May, 2026. Alternative pickup may be arranged by prior communication to zineverleigh@gmail.com
-Artworks that have not been collected by 31st May will be donated.
Funding opportunity
We have a small amount of funds available for up to 5 artists ($100 per artist) - to help cover the cost of Arts Materials. If you are;
-a young person 12- 25, or
-a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, or
-identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, or
-a concession card holder
-You can let us know of your interest via the entry form.
-If selected you will need to provide us with receipts up to the value of $100 for reimbursement.
-Please note that not all applicants will be able to be funded.
